A man was arrested after stealing goods and becoming violent towards staff at a Coop store in Sävast.

Police in Boden have arrested a man following an incident at a grocery store in Sävast.
The alarm was raised on Monday evening. Staff at Coop had seen a customer take goods without paying. When an employee approached him, the man became threatening and left the store.
A number of police cars were called to the scene. Later that evening the man was arrested.
Initially police believed it could be a robbery. However, after reviewing what had occurred, it was classified as minor theft together with assault.
By midday the next day, police had still not been able to establish the man's identity. He had not appeared in police records previously.
