A man is suspected of tricking an acquaintance into logging in with their BankID, after which money was transferred to the suspect's account. The man was taken in for questioning and his mobile telephone was seized.

A police patrol was called to central Umeå shortly before 14:30 on Tuesday following a suspected fraud, reports folkbladet.nu.
According to police, a man is said to have persuaded an acquaintance to log in with their BankID, under the pretext that he was logging in to a website. Instead, a money transfer was carried out to the suspect's account.
The suspect was taken in for questioning and his mobile telephone was seized. A fraud report has been filed.
