A woman is believed to have been subjected to a sexual assault outdoors in southern Stockholm on Friday morning. Police have cordoned off the area and are searching for the unknown perpetrator.

A woman reported on Friday morning that she had been subjected to a sexual assault outdoors in a southern suburb of the capital. Since then, a larger area has been closed off for investigative work.
– We have no identified suspect at this time, says police spokesman Marcus Björling.
The incident came to the attention of the authorities early in the day. Thereafter, forensic technicians and handlers with dogs have been working at the scene.
– Door-to-door inquiries are underway and we have search dogs in the area, Björling explains.
A person living nearby told Aftonbladet that the street is completely cordoned off. The witness woke up from the sound of vehicles and was able to see a large number of police officers wearing protective gloves as well as several service dogs.
