A man attacked several young people at Kungsbacka sports centre on Sunday evening. A boy in his late teens was struck in the face with an iron pipe and lost three teeth among other injuries.

A boy in his late teens lost several teeth after an unknown man struck him in the face with an iron pipe at Kungsbacka sports centre on Sunday evening. The incident occurred shortly after 22:25.
– The blow was so forceful that he loses three teeth, among other things, according to Morten Gunneng, duty officer at the police, speaking to Göteborgs-Posten.
The perpetrator is also said to have threatened several other people at the scene, all under 18 years old. According to the police, the man indicated through a gesture that he was carrying a weapon.
– Initially they are witnesses, but then they also become injured parties, Gunneng tells Expressen.
The assaulted boy bled heavily and was taken to hospital for treatment. The perpetrator left the scene on a moped and was still at large at around one o'clock in the morning. The police have secured the crime scene.
The charges are aggravated assault and illegal threats. The police are working on the hypothesis that this is an unprovoked assault.
