A person was shot at a car park in Jordbro, Haninge, on Tuesday evening. The person was taken to hospital and was conscious and able to speak. Police are investigating the incident as attempted murder and one person has been detained.

A person was shot on Tuesday evening at a car park in Jordbro in Haninge, just south of Stockholm. The incident occurred shortly before 7 p.m.
Police were alerted to shots fired in the area. At the scene, it was confirmed that a person had been hit by gunfire. The injured person was taken to hospital by ambulance and is reported to have been conscious and able to speak during transport.
The shooting took place at an outdoor car park in a residential area near the commuter rail station. According to police spokesperson Carina Skagerlind, there were several witnesses to the incident.
Police worked at the scene to secure evidence and conducted checks on a number of people. Later, prosecutor Thobias Vilhelmsson confirmed to Mitt i that one person has been detained in the case.
The incident is being investigated as attempted murder.
