Three people have been convicted by the district court for carrying out two break-ins at the same business in Gnosjö during the night of 12 February last year, according to Värnamo Nyheter.

Before the raids on the business, the group had broken into private property and stolen gardening tools and waste containers. These items were then used when breaking into the business premises. There, a gate was cut and a storage shed was forced open.

A security guard nearby spotted a lorry leaving the crime scene and attempted to follow it. The lorry managed to escape, however. Police had preventatively stationed a unit at Kärdakrysset, where the vehicle was able to be stopped.

The situation escalated during the intervention. In order to restrain the suspects, police used a stun gun. Stolen goods that had been obtained during the night were found in the lorry.

All three members of the group have now been held accountable for the course of events.
