A 15-year-old boy from eastern Värmland is now being investigated for allegedly planning to kill a 16-year-old schoolmate and threatening the victim's relatives' lives online.

The conflict stems from a previous fight between the two teenagers. On a spring day this year, several young people were together playing video games when the 16-year-old from Karlstad came up in conversation. The younger boy allegedly then decided to go on the attack.

Via the messaging service Signal, several young people allegedly gathered in a group chat where they discussed a task to kill. Threats were also directed at the target's family, where the attacker wrote that they should receive bullets to the head.

Police have arrested the 15-year-old boy who is now suspected of preparation for murder and aggravated illegal threats.
