The incident took place in Jordbro, a suburb within Haninge municipality just south of Stockholm. On the evening of 16 June, police were alerted to explosions in the area. A man in his mid-thirties had been shot and hit at a car park.
Prosecutor Thobias Vilhelmsson confirms that the minor boy is now deprived of liberty. Beyond that, he declines to provide any further comments on the state of the investigation.
