A 15-year-old boy in Värmland has now been charged with forcing a 14-year-old classmate to carry out a murder assignment.

A 15-year-old pupil from Värmland is now charged with driving a 14-year-old schoolmate to commit murder. The younger boy is said to have been told that his relatives would be subjected to fatal violence if he refused the assignment.
The two, who attended the same secondary school in Karlstad, are said to have made contact with each other via online gaming. In messages that police have reviewed, the older boy is said to have repeatedly threatened the younger one when he said he did not want to go through with the plan.
A police special operations unit arrested the suspect after information about the case reached the judicial system. He is now suspected of murder preparation and illegal threats.
Since his arrest, the charged individual has been held in custody. The case is to be tried in Värmland District Court.
