Police in Trbovlje discover 900 cannabis plants, three citizens remanded in custody
Ljubljana detectives seized more than 900 cannabis plants and trimmed flowering tops in a house in the Trbovlje area. Three foreign nationals have been remanded in custody.

House search in Trbovlje uncovers adapted cannabis cultivation facility
Ljubljana detectives conducted a house search in the Trbovlje area and discovered an adapted space for cannabis cultivation, according to 24ur. They seized more than 900 plants together with already trimmed flowering tops, which were confirmed as prohibited drugs by rapid testing.
Equipment for cultivation and other items related to production were also seized at the scene.
At the location, detectives arrested three men: a 32-year-old and 48-year-old Serbian national, and a 41-year-old citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina. All three were deprived of liberty on suspicion of unauthorised production and trafficking in prohibited drugs, and theft of electrical energy.
The investigating judge ordered remand in custody for all three. Police are continuing to gather information and will inform the competent state prosecutor's office of their findings, Ljubljana Police Directorate reported.
