New Hanover man charged after narcotics unit seizes drugs at Racine Drive apartment

Samson King has been charged with multiple drug trafficking offences following an investigation by the New Hanover County Sheriff's Office, wwaytv3.com reports.

Detectives from the Sheriff's Vice & Narcotics Unit concluded their investigation into King in August, suspecting him of trafficking drugs across New Hanover County. A search warrant was then executed at an apartment at 458 Racine Drive.

During the search, detectives seized approximately 101 grams of methamphetamine, 5,679 grams of marijuana and THC, 36 grams of MDMA, 19 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 45 squares of LSD and 4.8 grams of cocaine.

King was arrested and charged with two counts each of trafficking methamphetamine, trafficking MDMA and trafficking marijuana, along with additional narcotics-related charges, according to the sheriff's office.

No further details about the investigation were released.
