Two Separate Shootings in Allentown Leave One Dead, One Hospitalised

Two shootings struck Allentown, Pennsylvania within an hour on Tuesday evening. One man was killed on Gordon Street; a second victim was taken to hospital.

6abc.com reports that Allentown Police are investigating two separate shootings that occurred within roughly an hour of each other on Tuesday evening in the Lehigh Valley.

The first shooting took place on Gordon Street, near 7th Street, at approximately 7 p.m. A man was shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Around an hour later, officers responded to gunfire at the intersection of South Front and Long Streets. The Lehigh County Coroner confirmed that one person was transported to hospital; the victim's condition remained unclear at the time of reporting.

No suspects have been identified and no motives established in either case. Allentown Police continue to investigate both incidents.
