Woman Shot Dead, Boy 13 Critical After Triple Shooting in Bathlodge

A late-night attack at a Bathlodge home left a woman dead and a 13-year-old boy in critical condition. Police are appealing for information.

A woman in her early 20s was killed and a 13-year-old boy left in critical condition after three gunmen stormed a residence in Bathlodge shortly before midnight on Monday, antigua.news reports.

According to the outlet, the attackers entered the home at around 11:30 p.m. and opened fire on three people inside. The woman died at the scene. The injured teenager and a 25-year-old man were transported to hospital by Emergency Medical Services.

The boy sustained a gunshot wound to the face and is reportedly in critical condition.

Police have not yet established a motive for the attack. Investigations remain ongoing.
