FICCO/Campinas operation targets drug storage facility in Mogi Guaçu
The Integrated Task Force to Combat Organised Crime in Campinas (FICCO/Campinas) launched an operation on Wednesday (3 June) against organised crime in the municipality of Mogi Guaçu, in the interior of São Paulo State. The action was carried out in conjunction with the 1st Special Actions Police Battalion (BAEP) of the Military Police.
According to gov.br, officers executed a search warrant at an address used for storing narcotics. At the location, illicit substances were found and seized.
Investigations continue to be carried out to identify those involved and deepen the investigation.
FICCO/Campinas brings together the Federal Police, the National Secretariat of Penal Policies, the Penitentiary Administration Secretariat of the State of São Paulo and the Public Security Secretariat of the State of São Paulo.
