A gun attack carried out by hitmen in the municipality of Puerto Colombia, in the department of Atlántico, claimed the lives of two men and left a third person seriously wounded. The incident occurred in the vicinity of the sector known as Pradomar.

According to preliminary accounts, the victims were travelling on a motorcycle when they were intercepted by the attackers, who fired at them without warning. Authorities indicate that the attack could be linked to a dispute over control of drug trafficking in the area, although this hypothesis is still under investigation.

One of the deceased victims was identified as Jairo Corro, known by the alias 'Corozo', 29 years old. The identity of the second deceased person and the injured party had not been confirmed at the time of going to press.

The Atlántico Police deployed an operation in the area to locate those responsible for the double homicide. Investigators are working to reconstruct the events in order to establish responsibility and determine with precision the motives for the crime.
