In the Kennedy district, police officers apprehended three individuals accused of committing a residential burglary in the early hours of the morning. The intervention occurred after the victims alerted authorities by telephone about the location of the suspects.
The uniformed officers, assigned to the Techo police station (CAI), obtained permission from the resident to enter the property. There they discovered various items that had been stolen: computer equipment, a set of video surveillance cameras, and a motorcycle which, according to investigations, had served as a means of transport during the commission of the crime. The estimated amount of recovered goods totals around 15 million Colombian pesos.
When the accused individuals noticed the presence of authorities, they attempted to flee, but were intercepted. They now face charges for receiving stolen goods and have been turned over to judicial authorities.
