A nineteen-year-old man faces a charge of murder in connection with last year's killing in a flat on a housing estate in Hranice in the Přerov district. In October, during a celebration following a previous argument, he stabbed his forty-four-year-old stepfather with a knife. The man died at the scene.
Police recommended charging the young man. He has confessed to the act. He faces a prison sentence of between ten and eighteen years.
