Police in the Czech Republic have significantly increased the number of residence checks on foreigners over the past four years. According to information from iDNES.cz, the number of these checks has tripled.
Increased control activity has yielded concrete results. In individual years, police officers uncover up to double the number of foreigners who are staying on the territory of the republic on the basis of forged documents.
