A court case against a 25-year-old man involved in a fatal crash in the Frederikssundsvej Tunnel in summer 2024 began on Tuesday at Frederiksberg Court.
The young man has admitted that he was the driver of the rental car that crashed in the accident, in which a young man lost his life and several others were injured. He denies, however, that laughing gas was the cause of the accident.
According to Politiken, the defendant moved carefully into the courtroom with the help of a cane, whilst the sound of the cane cut through the silence in the room.
The accident took place in the Frederikssundsvej Tunnel and has since been the subject of an extensive police investigation. The court case continues to clarify the precise circumstances surrounding the accident.
