A 57-year-old Danish man has been arrested and charged with trading on confidential information and manipulating the market. This has been confirmed by the National Unit for Serious Crime (NSK).

The arrest took place at Copenhagen Airport, where the man was about to leave Denmark. He has a permanent residence abroad.

NSK has confirmed to DR that the investigation is ongoing, and for this reason they are withholding information.

The suspect attended a police interview, and officers seized his telephone and other possessions.

After the interview, he was released. He is allowed to leave the country, but the charges against him remain. It is unclear whether he denies or admits to the allegations.
