Attempted escape on Frederiksberg: 29-year-old remanded in custody for 12 days
A 29-year-old man attempted to flee from police by car on Frederiksberg on Saturday morning. He is now remanded in custody for 12 days.

Car stopped after escape attempt – cocaine and knives found
A dramatic episode unfolded on Frederiksberg on Saturday morning, according to B.T. Copenhagen Police attempted to stop a car in connection with a report of nitrous oxide being used in a vehicle.
The driver refused to stop and instead increased speed through the city. The escape ended abruptly when the car braked sharply and was struck from behind by a police car travelling at low speed.
Behind the wheel was a 29-year-old man who was already wanted in connection with an assault case from July. A subsequent search of the car revealed cocaine, two knives and several bottles of nitrous oxide.
The man was immediately charged with reckless driving, and the car was seized on the spot. On Sunday he was brought before a court for a preliminary hearing and remanded in custody for 12 days.
