Hacker group demands 25 million dollars from Novo Nordisk – threatens to sell data
The hacker group FulcrumSec claims to have stolen over one terabyte of data from Novo Nordisk and has attempted to extort the company for 25 million dollars.

DR Nyheder reports that the hacker group FulcrumSec has unsuccessfully attempted to demand a ransom of 25 million dollars from Novo Nordisk.
The group claims to have had access to the pharmaceutical company's systems for more than two months and states on its website that it has stolen over one terabyte of data.
When Novo Nordisk refused to pay, the group announced that it would now examine the possibility of selling the stolen material.
A spokesperson from Novo Nordisk writes in an email to Reuters that the company is "aware of allegations that data has allegedly been copied externally without permission from our systems".
