A 35-year-old has been remanded in custody in a case where a 34-year-old man lost his life after being stabbed in Frederikshavn.

The court in Aalborg has decided to remand a 35-year-old woman in custody for a period of four weeks. The decision came after a bail hearing in which the prosecution presented evidence against her in a murder case.
According to DR, the fatal incident took place on Monday in Frederikshavn. A 34-year-old man was struck by a knife and died shortly afterwards. Doctors were unable to do anything to save him.
Police took the suspected woman to the station just hours after the young man had died. However, she had to be released again, as investigators did not have enough evidence to detain her at that time.
Later, there was a turn in the case. The woman was arrested again and formally charged. During the court hearing, she denied having committed any crime. Her solicitor has explained that the action took place as an act of self-defence.
The investigation continues while the woman is held in isolation.
