Novo Nordisk has been subjected to an IT attack that forced the company to take parts of its internal infrastructure offline.

The pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk experienced a security breach affecting its digital platforms, which resulted in parts of the internal infrastructure being taken offline.
According to a statement from the company, which DR reports, Novo immediately responded by initiating an investigation. External experts in digital security were brought in to assist, and the matter has been reported to the appropriate authorities.
The company emphasises that core operations are not affected and continue unimpeded. The systems that were hit are, however, temporarily inaccessible whilst work to restore them in a proper manner is ongoing.
Novo Nordisk states that the restoration of the affected platforms is proceeding gradually and in a controlled manner.
