Police have remanded three further individuals in custody in an ongoing conflict between criminal groups in Herning and Ikast. They are suspected of arson and of participating in an assault that resulted in death.

New arrests in gang conflict in Central Jutland
Officers from Central and Western Jutland Police have made new arrests in connection with the escalating conflict between criminal groups in the Herning and Ikast area. Three men have now been placed in isolation for two weeks.
The arrested individuals are suspected of starting a fire and of assisting in connection with an attempt to kill a person. The incidents took place in Herning.
According to police, the offences are connected to the current dispute between groups in the area. This conflict has in recent weeks been characterised by violent clashes.
With the new remands, there are now 11 people in total being held in cases related to the dispute. Violence has flared up recently and has since included several shooting incidents and cases of arson.
The situation has been so strained that the police district has had to request assistance from colleagues in other parts of the country in order to keep up with the investigation.
