Valladolid officers arrest sought drug trafficker 'El Chatito' in Ceuta
Four police officers from Valladolid's VII UIP, deployed to Ceuta on temporary duty, identified and arrested Hicham, known as 'El Chatito', a Moroccan drug trafficker with an Andalusian accent who had outstanding judicial warrants from Ceuta and Málaga.

A patrol from the VII Police Intervention Unit, attached to the Valladolid Superior Command, managed to capture a renowned drug trafficker in Ceuta who had become a public figure through his own internet publications. The arrest took place on 7 June during an operational mission in the autonomous city.
According to ABC, the officers, despite being far from their usual area of operations, identified Hicham, nicknamed 'El Chatito', without difficulty. Two active arrest warrants were outstanding against him: one from the Ceuta criminal court for alleged domestic violence, and another from the Málaga Criminal Court for alleged drug trafficking.
The arrested man, of Moroccan origin but with a marked Andalusian accent, had acquired a certain notoriety in criminal circles and among security forces by distributing recordings on digital platforms in which he exhibited his alleged criminal activities.
Among these audiovisual materials was one in which he appeared operating a large vessel, which he had named "crazy horse", transporting illegal substances across the Strait. In that same recording he boasted that he operated alone and that no one would manage to capture him.
Nevertheless, the UIP officers proved otherwise. The detainee had been arrested previously for other offences, including in a recording in which he was driving a high-powered car at excessive speed.
