A man with ten previous offences was arrested in Valladolid after intimidating three people on a terrace, displaying bladed weapons and throwing a stone against a building.

On the night of 22 June, a man was taken into custody in Valladolid following a violent incident against three residents who were conversing on the balcony of their home. The events unfolded when the suspect was passing through a public area and directed shouts at two women and a man.
According to reports from ABC, the individual hurled intimidatory questions at them about "burning their hair" and repeatedly demanded that they come down. After the occupants refused, he made threats of gunshots. He also threw a blunt object taken from a construction skip against the building's façade.
The escalation continued when the aggressor lifted his upper garment, revealing what appeared to be two short firearms at his waist. One of the affected parties documented the scene with his mobile device, material which was later handed over to the police.
Fearing for their safety, those affected requested police assistance. Two units of the Policía Nacional attended the scene. The alleged perpetrator had taken refuge inside a neighbouring building; in an initial search he was not found. Subsequently, whilst the officers were preparing documentation, he emerged from the doorway and was identified.
During a security body search, the officers seized a knife with a blade of nine centimetres. He was arrested on suspicion of making serious threats. During transfer to the Delicias police station, he renewed his warnings against the young people.
The detainee, who had ten previous entries in police records, was brought before the court, which agreed to his release.
