Three arrests and 38 citations in Sunday Fair police operation
Córdoba's Local Police and National Police concluded Fair Sunday with three arrested individuals, 98 people identified and 38 citations issued under the Public Safety Act, according to the joint summary of the special operation deployed at El Arenal provided by both forces to ABC.
The three arrests involved different offences. The first was linked to a drug-related public health offence and assault on a public official; the second was solely for assault; and the third resulted from a court warrant for aggravated theft.
The security forces also intervened in five brawls, all without physical contact, classified under the incidents recorded by Organic Law 4/2015 on Public Safety.
In the transport sphere, the operation took action against an unlicensed taxi driver operating during the festive day in the El Arenal area.
Humanitarian assistance totalled seven operations: four for fainting episodes and three related to alcohol or drug intoxication.
Local Police also recorded municipal incidents, notably five interventions for denial of access to fair stalls, two formal complaints filed and two further operations classified under miscellaneous incidents.
