Two men accepted twelve years in prison after admitting they sexually assaulted a girl inside a vehicle in Valencia, with the connivance of the victim's boyfriend, who offered his partner to settle a cocaine debt.

The Third Section of the Valencia Provincial Court delivered a sentence on Tuesday against two defendants who admitted to committing rape inside a van parked on wasteland in the eastern city on 21 March 2025.
The facts occurred when the victim, her boyfriend—a seventeen-year-old adolescent—and the two accused travelled together in the vehicle to the Cabañal neighbourhood to acquire drugs. Subsequently, they parked on an empty plot and the minor intimidated his partner to engage in intimate relations with one of the men, who had paid for the substance.
The young woman refused, but both her boyfriend and the second defendant held her inside the vehicle by means of threats, leaving her alone with the attacker, who forced himself on her sexually. The second defendant acted as a necessary accomplice, remaining outside the van while the abuse was perpetrated.
Both accused admitted to the facts during the hearing held on Tuesday, accepting a sentence of twelve years in prison. The ruling, delivered "in voce", is final and admits no appeal. In addition to imprisonment, they were imposed with an order to stay at least five hundred metres away from the victim for fifteen years, five years of supervised release and seventeen years' disqualification from working in professions related to minors.
The lawyers of the convicted men will request in the sentence execution phase that, once at least one third of the sentence has been served, they be expelled from national territory.
The minor boyfriend was tried separately in a juvenile court, which imposed only corrective measures for an offence of assault, despite the facts being identical, according to Las Provincias. The Minor's Public Prosecution Service maintains proceedings open with respect to the adolescent.
