Two drug sales points dismantled in Málaga with three arrests
The National Police have dismantled two drug sales points in separate residences in Málaga, according to reports by Google News ES — Crime (es). The operations were carried out in the city centre and in the Carretera de Cádiz district, resulting in the arrest of three people for their alleged involvement in the events.
The first investigation began following complaints from neighbours about the constant flow of unfamiliar people entering a building in the city centre. Officers established a surveillance operation and verified that one of the building's letterboxes was functioning as an exchange point: the person responsible deposited the previously requested cocaine doses and buyers inserted the agreed-upon money, without any direct physical contact between the two parties.
After identifying the person responsible, officers carried out a search of his residence, where they seized 350 grammes of cocaine, more than 9,000 euros in cash and two high-end vehicles. The arrested person was brought before a judge, who ordered his remand in custody.
Just a week later, Investigation Group I of the West District Police Station in Málaga dismantled a second sales point in the Carretera de Cádiz area. The investigation determined that a man regularly carried out sales of narcotics in public spaces—with total brazenness and in the presence of passers-by—and stocked supplies at his own residence, where he lived with his partner.
Following numerous surveillance operations, officers intercepted several buyers from whom they seized merchandise, both cocaine and heroin. The residential search made it possible to seize 29 heroin wraps, 46 base cocaine wraps and more than 500 euros in cash, in addition to 75 wraps of base cocaine and heroin throughout the overall operation. A man and a woman were arrested; the court ordered remand in custody for the man following his appearance before a judge.
The Provincial Police Station in Málaga described both points as "highly active" in an official statement.
