An 18-year-old woman has been arrested in the Echavacoiz neighbourhood in Pamplona, accused of committing an offence of assault against authority. The arrest took place after the young woman attacked several agents of the Municipal Police during an operation in the area, according to Diario de Navarra.
The police intervention formed part of an intense day for public safety in the Navarrese capital. During Monday, municipal agents carried out a total of 120 operations related to public safety. From these interventions, 28 administrative reports and two arrests resulted.
In addition to the arrest of the young woman in Echavacoiz, agents also detained a 58-year-old man for an alleged theft committed in a commercial establishment in the Mendebaldea neighbourhood. This second arrest took place around 21:30 hours.
With regard to traffic, the day recorded fourteen traffic accidents in the city, although none of them resulted in injuries. The only notable intervention in this area was the report issued to a 26-year-old driver who tested positive for alcohol at 07:30 in the morning whilst driving through the San Juan neighbourhood.
