Man arrested in Soria for corporate fraud and document forgery against business partners in Jaca

Company administrator from Jaca arrested in Soria accused of forging minutes and diverting contracts
The National Police in Jaca arrested a local businessman and his partner for offences of breach of fiduciary duty, corporate fraud and document forgery, according to cadenaser.com. The investigation was initiated following a complaint filed by one of the company's shareholders at the Jaca Police Station.
The complainant reported to officers a series of allegedly abusive actions committed by the sole administrator of the company, for his own benefit and to the detriment of the other shareholders. The investigation revealed that the accused had allegedly used his partners' signature certificates to endorse shareholders' meetings that never actually took place, as well as to appoint internal positions and approve the company's accounts, all without the knowledge or consent of the other shareholders.
Investigators also found that the administrator failed to inform the other shareholders about the company's account movements. At the same time, he had allegedly signed economic contracts with other companies of which he himself was the administrator, under terms that were favourable for those external companies and detrimental to the complaining company.
The arrested man's partner was also charged after it was established that she had collaborated and participated in the offences, specifically for the crime of document forgery.
Officers from the Local Operations Group of the Jaca Police Station travelled to Soria to carry out the arrest of both individuals. After being heard in statement, the two arrested men were released pending the holding of trial.
