A 19-year-old man has been arrested by the Guardia Civil after being identified as the alleged perpetrator of four violent robberies that occurred in Rivas Vaciamadrid last November. The arrest took place in Móstoles, according to Diario de Rivas.
The suspect operated in residential neighbourhoods, waiting for lone individuals to walk back to their homes during late-night hours. Armed with a knife, he intimidated his targets in order to seize their belongings.
The stolen items included mobile phones and cash. On one occasion, the attacker forced a victim to make an immediate transfer via the Bizum platform to obtain additional funds.
One of the most notable cases involved a VTC driver, whom he threatened with the weapon and robbed of all the money he was carrying.
After gathering evidence, officers located the alleged perpetrator in Móstoles and arrested him. He was brought before the judicial authority, who ordered his preventive imprisonment.
The investigation linked the same individual to all four crimes committed in different areas of the municipality, closing the chain of robberies.
