Fourteen-year-old stabbed in Pueblo Nuevo, Madrid
An adolescent was seriously wounded following an assault with a bladed weapon in Madrid on Friday night. He sustained four wounds to the chest and a leg.

A 14-year-old adolescent was seriously wounded during an assault in the Pueblo Nuevo neighbourhood of Madrid on Friday at approximately 21:45, according to emergency services reports. The attack took place on Calle del Sauzal, near Hermanos García Noblejas, adjacent to a Salesian school in Ciudad Lineal.
The minor sustained four wounds located on the chest and a leg. A National Police patrol was the first to arrive at the scene and applied a tourniquet to the thigh to control the haemorrhage. After being stabilised by SAMUR-Protección Civil, he was evacuated in serious condition to La Paz Hospital.
The National Police assumed investigation of the incident. According to El Confidencial, details regarding the identity of the attacker and the exact circumstances that led to the assault have not yet been confirmed.
