Sixty-year-old man arrested in Alicante for selling drugs from his home
A 64-year-old man has been arrested in Alicante following an operation by the National Police against small-scale drug dealing in the northern area of the municipality. The detainee used his centrally-located home as a distribution centre for substances.
The investigation began when officers became aware that an individual was distributing drugs from his own house. After identifying the suspected responsible party, surveillance was carried out that confirmed the criminal activity.
The man used the residence both to conduct business and to hide illicit profits. With this information, an operation was organised that concluded with his capture.
In the search conducted at the property, police seized 475 grammes of speed already prepared for sale, 360 grammes of speed in liquid format, 19 grammes of cannabis resin, caffeine, a precision scales, a packaging machine and 2,200 euros in cash.
Once police procedures were completed, the detainee was placed at the disposal of the court.
