Minors arrested in Mutilva

According to El Confidencial, the Foral Police arrested two 17-year-olds in the early hours of 3 to 4 November in Mutilva after being caught stealing items from a vehicle. The car owner immediately alerted the authorities when he detected the theft in progress.

Public safety patrols quickly attended the scene. Spotting that they had been discovered, the two young men fled on foot. During their escape, they jumped over the fence of a private property with the intention of hiding, which would allegedly constitute the offence of breaking and entering according to the regional force.

Officers intercepted and arrested both of them as they left the property. The police seized several objects that fully matched what had been reported as stolen from the vehicle. The Northern Judicial Police Unit drew up the corresponding report following the necessary proceedings.

The two minors were released into the custody of their legal guardians. They must present themselves before the Minors' Prosecutor's Office of Navarre when formally summoned to continue with the legal procedures.
