The Prosecutor's Office has counted 23 sexual assaults in Ceuta since 30 July, the date of the massive influx of migrants into the autonomous city, according to El Mundo. Of those cases, five have been classified as rapes.

Nine of the victims are under the age of majority, aged between 14 and 17 years old, according to sources from the Prosecutor's Office to the EFE news agency.

State security forces and bodies have identified a total of eight suspected perpetrators: four of Moroccan nationality, three Spanish and one Belgian. The remaining attackers remain unidentified.

The figures cover the period between 30 July and this Monday.
