National Police officers have located and dismantled a drug sales point concealed in a storage facility in the city of Huesca, capital of the province of the same name in Aragón. The storage unit operated as a warehouse and drug distribution point and maintained a direct connection with a flat situated in the same area that was being used as a brothel.
The police operation has made it possible to dismantle simultaneously two illicit activities: the trafficking of controlled substances and sexual exploitation in the neighbouring property. Investigations determined that both spaces formed part of the same criminal structure dedicated to drug distribution and prostitution.
To date, the authorities have not publicly disclosed the number of people arrested or the quantity and type of substances seized during the search. Neither has it been specified whether those responsible for the drug dealing point were the same operators of the prostitution flat.
The intervention is part of the surveillance operations that security forces maintain in the capital of Huesca to combat micro-trafficking of controlled substances and crimes related to sexual exploitation in the urban environment.
