Police dismantle hashish dealing point in Talavera and arrest suspect
The National Police seized 1,659 grammes of hashish and arrested the suspected trafficker following a search of his home in Talavera de la Reina.

The National Police have arrested the suspected person responsible for a hashish dealing point in Talavera de la Reina, according to information provided by the force in an official statement. During the search of the property, 1,659 grammes of the substance were seized, distributed in 15 vacuum-sealed tablets inside a refrigerator and two other incomplete tablets.
According to ABC, the investigation began in mid-April, when officers specialising in drug trafficking offences received indications about a local resident who was distributing hashish from his own home. The man used the property to process the drug and maintained daily contact with buyers in the surrounding area, with greater activity during afternoon and evening hours.
Following several weeks of surveillance, the National Police carried out a search of the suspect's home. In addition to the hashish, officers found a precision scale, 440 euros in cash, three mobile phones and various implements intended for the preparation and distribution of the substance.
The detainee remains at the disposal of the judiciary as the suspected perpetrator of a drug trafficking offence.
