The National Police arrested Madou Camara, brother of Villarreal CF player Moussa Traoré, for an alleged assault on an elderly man in Palma de Mallorca, according to reports from El Periódico Mediterráneo.

The arrest took place on 23 June. Camara, 25 years old, was discovered by officers whilst attempting to flee after the theft. The elderly man, 84 years old, was injured during the assault and had to be taken to a medical centre.

The detained individual already has a record for similar offences. At the time of arrest he was carrying a knife and objects belonging to the victim. Officers located him thanks to security cameras in the area.

The investigating court number 3 in Palma ordered his remand in custody pending trial, notified and without bail.
