Minor arrested in Balaguer for death showing signs of criminal violence
Google News ES — Crime (es) reports that Mossos d'Esquadra have detained a minor allegedly involved in the violent death of a man in Balaguer (Lleida). The detainee was brought before the Juvenile Prosecution Office on Tuesday.
The events took place at approximately 23:00 hours on Wednesday, 26 August, when an urban traffic accident revealed the body of a man inside the crashed vehicle.
During the investigation, officers found that the victim bore possible signs of criminal violence prior to the accident. This led the Criminal Investigation Division of Mossos d'Esquadra to assume the investigation in order to determine the exact circumstances of the death.
After several days of investigation, officers proceeded with the arrest of the minor yesterday. Catalan police confirmed the detention in an official statement released on Tuesday.
