A man has lost his life in Santander following a brawl that occurred in a nightlife leisure area of the Cantabrian city. As a result of the incident, officers from the National Police have detained two individuals.
According to police sources who confirmed to LaSexta, the assault took place during the early hours of Saturday 13 June. Officers received a report of a fight at an establishment in the area and travelled to the scene. There they found the victim, who presented serious injuries.
Despite medical assistance, the man died as a consequence of the wounds sustained. Investigators have succeeded in identifying and apprehending two suspected perpetrators of the crime, who are now in police custody.
The Judicial Police Brigade of Santander has taken over the direction of the investigation to clarify the exact circumstances in which the fatal assault occurred.
