Drug sales point dismantled in Berriozar: 47-year-old woman remanded in custody
According to Google News ES — Crime (es), officers of the Foral Police of Navarra have arrested a 47-year-old woman in Berriozar as the alleged perpetrator of drug trafficking. The competent Court of First Instance has ordered her immediate remand in custody.
The investigation began in early August, after the Foral Police received various complaints from neighbours and information indicating the existence of an active drug sales point in a flat in the locality.
The enquiries were carried out jointly by the Division of Prevention and Citizen Care and the Northern Judicial Police Brigade. During surveillance, investigators observed a continuous flow of people entering and leaving the building, as well as frequent contacts between the suspect and various buyers to carry out the exchanges.
Once sufficient evidence had been gathered, judicial authorisation was requested for the search of the property. Inside, officers found precision scales, various narcotic substances—primarily cocaine, speed and cannabis—, cash in small denominations and notes with sales accounts, payments and customer debts.
With the seized evidence, the woman was arrested and placed at the disposal of the judicial authority. The court ruled for her immediate remand in custody.
