A group of robbers entered the home of Valencia footballer Largie Ramazani on Saturday afternoon while he was playing in the final league match. The haul amounts to €100,000 in jewellery, designer clothes and other belongings.

At least two hooded men dressed in black entered the villa of Largie Ramazani, Valencia CF player, last Saturday afternoon, according to ABC reporting on information from Las Provincias. The theft took place while the footballer was playing in the final match of the season against FC Barcelona. The haul reached €100,000 in jewellery, designer clothes and other belongings.
The robbers took advantage of the sportsman's absence to gain access to the property, which at that time did not have its security alarm activated. Ramazani was preparing a trip to London following the end of the season and had part of his luggage already packed. Several friends accompanying him had also packed their personal items, which made the task easier for those who carried out the robbery, who only had to load the suitcases and abandon the property.
A security camera recorded the two individuals leaving through the front door of the villa with the suitcases, which were loaded with the stolen items.
The Guardia Civil, according to Las Provincias, suspects that those responsible had an informant within the Torre en Conill residential complex, who would have alerted them about the player's absence from his home during the match against Barcelona.
The case brings to mind a robbery method that takes advantage of high-profile sporting events to ensure that footballers' homes are unoccupied for a known period of time in advance.
