Three arrested for robbing 32,000 euros at gunpoint in Alzira in two minutes
The National Police arrested three men in Valencia and La Pobla de Vallbona for robbing a gaming venue collector in Alzira with 32,000 euros in stolen goods.

According to ABC, the National Police have arrested three men aged 26, 32 and 36 accused of stealing 32,000 euros from an employee of a gaming venue in Alzira (Valencia). The arrests were carried out in the city of Valencia and in the municipality of La Pobla de Vallbona.
The robbery took place on 28 February, around midday. The victim was driving a van marked with the company's logo and had entered the establishment's car park when two of the attackers approached and struck him with a pistol butt to the face to force him to hand over the vehicle keys. They then opened the rear door where the cash register was located and seized the 32,000 euros. The entire operation lasted barely two minutes: the robbers got into their car and fled the scene immediately.
The investigation was taken on by officers from the Robberies group of the Provincial Judicial Police Brigade. The inquiry made it possible to identify the owner of the vehicle used during the robbery, which had not been reported as stolen. A surveillance operation was put in place around it, which culminated in the arrest of one of the suspects as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of theft with violence.
Following his arrest, officers searched his home—with judicial authorisation—and found a revolver hidden in a sock, concealed in the false ceiling of the bathroom. During the same operation, another resident of the property was also arrested, identified as the alleged direct perpetrator of the robbery.
Investigations continued for several months until police officers managed to identify, locate and arrest a third person involved. This latter turned out to be a former employee of the affected company, which allowed him to know precisely how the collectors operated.
Officers also discovered that this third detainee had allegedly participated in other crimes. Specifically, the Civil Guard is investigating him for a robbery with violence against another collector committed in La Pobla de Vallbona, in which one of the perpetrators wielded a machete, and for a burglary at a service station in Alfara del Patriarca, where the suspects stole money outside opening hours using a stolen van.
The three arrested were placed at the disposal of the courts. The judge decreed preventive imprisonment for two of them.
