The National Police arrested a man for striking another person in the arm with a bottle during San Juan Night celebrations on Las Moreras beach in Valladolid.

The San Juan Night celebration on the urban beach of Las Moreras, on the banks of the Pisuerga river in Valladolid, proceeded relatively peacefully despite rumours circulated on social media about possible clashes between youth gangs and death threats. Law enforcement swiftly denied these false reports.
The Government's sub-delegate in the province, Jacinto Canales, reported that a man was arrested after assaulting another person by striking him in the arm with a bottle, causing injuries. Another person was arrested after it was confirmed that there was an outstanding judicial warrant against him.
In addition to these two arrests, officers issued various citations for infractions of citizen safety regulations.
The security operation deployed in the area included officers from the Municipal Police, the National Police and private security, who conducted checks and searches to prevent incidents during the festivities.
The night was marked by high temperatures, which reached almost 32 degrees Celsius when the main bonfire was lit, with a low that barely dropped below 23 degrees.
