In the broader area, two teams of police officers from Athens are operating. The first comes from the department handling homicides and is recording witness statements. The second belongs to forensic investigators and is examining in detail the location where the victims were found.
According to the Greek Police, changes may have been made to the victims' room. This is why a thorough examination is being conducted with special lighting to find any traces invisible to the naked eye.

The 65-year-old's lawyer, Iatropolou, stated that an application for the release of her client is being planned, while the forensic report has not yet been completed.
