A different decision was reached regarding the alleged "chief accountant" of the organisation. The investigating magistrate and prosecutor decided to impose house arrest with electronic monitoring on him, instead of pre-trial detention. As Ethnos reports, this decision took into account the advanced age of the accused and the health problems he faces. The particular accused is reported to be one of the central figures in the case.

Statements from approximately 15 accused still pending

The investigative procedure has not been concluded. Of the total of 59 arrested individuals brought before the courts, approximately 15 accused are still expected to make statements in order to complete the current phase of the investigative procedure.
