A young woman was found dead in a Budapest flat on 13 July. The Budapest Police Headquarters issued a search for a man on suspicion of homicide.

Body found on Véső Street, suspect being sought
On the evening of 13 July at around 10.30 p.m., the body of a 27-year-old woman was found in a flat in District XIII, on Véső Street – according to a report by 4.kerulet.ittlakunk.hu.
The Budapest Police Headquarters initiated proceedings on suspicion of the crime of homicide. Investigators from the Life Protection Division identified the suspected perpetrator and issued an arrest warrant against him.
The suspect is Róbert Dániel Türk, who according to his social media profile works at the Government IT Development Agency. The victim was his 27-year-old girlfriend – according to reports by Blikk.
Neighbours heard a quarrel from the flat late in the evening, then alerted police: the flat fell silent, the girl's telephone could not be reached, and she did not open the door. Police officers arriving at the scene broke down the flat door and found the deceased woman inside.
A resident told Blikk that she was woken at around 12.30 a.m. by a woman's distressed crying – the mother presumably found out at that point that her daughter had been killed. According to the witness's account, she saw Róbert Dániel Türk regularly in the building: since May they had encountered each other several times a week in the lift or stairwell, though to her knowledge the man did not live in the building. The suspect is currently the subject of a search.
