Woman arrested with cocaine and knives at home in Cassino
State Police arrest a woman in Cassino during a drugs control operation. Officers found 7.5 grammes of cocaine, scales and drug-packaging materials.

According to questure.poliziadistato.it, the State Police arrested a woman on yesterday afternoon during a territory-control operation in Cassino. Officers from the police station noticed a car hastily leaving the entrance of a building in Piazza Vigili del Fuoco and stopped it shortly afterwards on via San Bartolomeo.
The driver, visibly agitated, provided false statements about her place of residence. Subsequent checks revealed numerous specific previous convictions against her and a preventative measure in force. The officers extended their checks to her home.
Discovery of drugs and items
During the search, supported by other units, officers found more than 7.5 grammes of cocaine, a precision scale, two flick knives and various materials for packaging doses. The officers also seized a notebook with handwritten notes. The woman was transferred to Roma - Rebibbia Prison.
Regulations require noting that the suspect is currently under investigation for a criminal offence. Her position will be assessed in court and only after a judgment becomes final will she be potentially found guilty, in accordance with the constitutional principle of presumption of innocence.
